Black Friday wasn't a total bust as it was an epic fail. As much as i love shopping for others (*cough* NOT *cough*), i enjoy shopping for myself more. Yesterday i only bought for others. *sigh*. I guess its good that my mom and i got a few gifts done for the holidays, but really. We still have about... i cant even count how many more gifts we have to buy and from now on I'm leaving that up to my mom. By doing that i hope she will buy me a few gifts as well. i am still hoping for my Mac, but if i can not get that all i want is money, itunes gift cards, and clothes from all the obvious stores ( NO that does not include Kohl's, PacSun, or JC Penny. I have an enormous hatred toward these stores. Don't question it).  Does anyone agree that it is better to give money than to buy someone something with your money that they will NEVER use and have your money be wasted? I mean come on if you give me money at least you know i will buy something that i like and will use. That way the money is put to good use! Wow i sound like a selfish brat, i will stop now. 

To talk about Thanksgiving all i can say is that i feel fat. I hate that bloated feeling and now i don't even want to eat, but alas my craving will get the best of me. I am not a big girl and i hate when people who call themselves fat wont let me bitch when i feel fat too. le sigh. I guess i can keep my feeling to myself. I'm doing the same for how i feel about "Michael". Ok that name for my crush is not working for me so i will call him... H. Thats it H. I havent been trying to talk about  lately to my friends at school because i think i have been doing that to much. I dont know but its like everytime i talk to him in school ( i talk to him more each day and i LOVE it, considering we have no classes together... unless gym counts) i feel so happy! I could scream right now but im not going to. Whats really pissing me off today is that my friend C is having her BM today and i wasnt invited. I wasnt expecting an invite but all my friends at my new school are going including H and i feel soo left out.... oh well i can get over it. I have better things to do like... homework! Ugh not the answer i was thinking of.

*sigh*, i know i know. I have totally disappeared from the internet world. I would love to do a weekly blog but like most teenage girls in to busy IMing friends, doing school work, and watching all my favorite TV shows to blog. I would also apologize for my absence, but I'm not going to. My life is finally better than the movies ( yes that is a quote i stole from... well probably an icon.). I am finally loving my new school, i have great friends and i have a MAJOR crush on a guy that i'll call... Michael. I talk to him all the time in the hallways ( we only have gym together :( i knew i should have switched classes in the beginning of the year, but thats what i get for being shy) and on IM. Isnt it gorgeous? I fell in love when i saw it and now i swear to my parents that if they get me one for christmas i wont ask for anything else or anything for my birthday. I doubt im getting one, but its nice to hope! Now, i could list everything i love about it but that would bore you.... hmm it seems i have run out of things to talk about. Sorry about my hiatus again. School had been absolute torture and i still have no idea what to be for halloween! So yesterday may have been one of the most cursed days of my life. I just knew if i went to go see high school musical 3 it would curse me (seriously though, it was an amazing movie, it even made me cry! Ahh my middle school years have officially ended :(). Let me tell you have what happened. First me and my cousin get to the theater and this bitch sat in front of me on purpose. I was so mad that i had to sit through an entire movie with out kicking my legs up! I'm such a drama queen, but oh well! Ahyhoo then in the best parts of the movie these four 7 year old kids sitting next to me were blabbing away. Again i was pissed. So we leave the theater and go into barnes and noble for some Starbucks. I get a pumpkin spice latte. I burn my tongue on it and then when i open the lid to cool it off a bit i spill it all over the table and my hand. We leave Starbucks and go to target so i can buy twilight to finish reading it for school and i spill my latte once again but this time all over me and my hair. Then we were suppose to go to sleepy hallow for this haunted walk thing and it was pouring rain with gusts of wind up to 60 mph. On top of that the thing sucked. Wow guys thanks for letting me vent, and if you actually read all of this I'm sorry for sounding like a total whiney bitch. I will get back to what this blog is about and tell you about some of my thoughts. This post will be mostly about HALLOWEEN!:

Today i watched Alfred Hitchcocks (sp?) The Birds for the first time. I loved it. I don't even know what to say about it. It was just a good movie. To me it wasn't very scary, but compared to the exoricst i don't think any movies will be scary to me now! Last halloween there was a great count down on either vh1 or E! that i watched maybe 3 times. It was top 100 scary movie moment (i think..) anyway, it was extremely god and scary. Before every movie clip it said viewer desecration advised (mind you that this was well after 10 pm that i watched this). I loved the countdown so much and i was looking forward to watching it this year. To bad i cant find it ANYWHERE! It is very possible that it was to scary for them, to play on TV again and i would totally understand if thats why they wont air it, but come on! that was the highlight of my halloween season last year!

The Reading/Book Edition

Supposedly diamonds are a girl's best friend. Well I would like to disagree with that statement. I believe that a girl's best friend is a little thing called a book.  Every girl reads books and wants to be in the book; whether it’s a romance novel or a teen book where the girls are rich and snobby (I admit I wish I was Massie Block or Blair Waldorf. Come on! Who doesn't?) It doesn't even have to be a book with a story. I just finished reading The One Hundred by Nina Garcia and I loved it. It is "A guide to the pieces every stylish woman must own" and I feel as if it has changed my life. Ok im being a little over dramatic, but I did really enjoy the book. There were a few items that I did not thing every woman must own. Fishnet, for example, is one of them. Also I can not wear some of the items because they are more for woman over 21 and I am a teenager (a very sophisticated and stylish teenager at that), but all in all it is a book that in my opinion every girl should own. If you don't know designer brands then forget about it. You will not enjoy the book at all and it will make you feel as if you need to be rich to be stylish which is not the case. Nina makes it very clear at the beginning of the book that the list is HER list and that she wants people to take it and tweak it to get it to be there own style. I have read reviews for the book and it seem like some people missed that factor.

Anyhoo. I am also reading twilight. The book that has taken America by storm… Too bad I am soo bored with it right now. I do not think that Edward is the most ah-mazing guy ever and Bella just flat out annoys me, but I have to finish the book anyways for a school projectL. So if you’re a girl like me, who thinks nerdy guys are adorable (ex: Bleeker from Juno, Dan Humphrey from Gossip Girl, and even Steve from Sex and the City) you may not enjoy this book. I am also not a big fan of fantasy books (is twilight a fantasy book? I mean he is a vampire!). The only ones I like are Harry Potter because Harry and Ron are just plain cool.

Now the reason why I think that books are a girl's best friend is because a girl can get lost in them. I guess guys can too, but I think girls have a bigger imagination (sorry guys, but we know all you think about is will… sex and booze. Although there are a few out there that I like to call gentlemen and I hope to one day find mine.). I also guess that not all girls can read a book and get completely swept up in it, but this is from my point of view. I read Gossip Girl and I want to be Blair having the perfect life living in New York (but you know with out the underage sex and drinking. Not to mention I don't EVER want to have an eating disorder). I read Emma and I have fantasy's of finding my Mr. Knightley (ok fine I may have cheated one this one and watched the movie. My mom only keeps the oldest copies of Jane Austin novels in the house and as much as I would like to be able to read them they are just impossible to understand for me right now.)

I hope that all the girls reading this (and guys too), will go out and pick up a great book right now, sit down, and read for hours and hours pretending to be your favorite character. Say his or her lines out loud if you want too, I do it! Just get wrapped up in it and don't put it down until you finish… or get to a really boring part like I have in Twilight.

I have decided to bring a note pad with me every where I go. I keep getting idea for blog posts and then when I get home or I actually have time to write a blog post I can't remember anything and I have a total brain fart on what to write about. So here is my post. I will call it Questions. Maybe it will even turn into a weekly thing!

Here I go: I am constantly thinking of weird questions that I have no idea what the answer is and I am usually to lazy to look them up. Here are my few for the week. If you would like to look one up or already know the answer to one please let me know in the comments. Please note that most of these are completely random and have nothing to do with this blog.

1. I can't believe it's not butter… If it's not butter then what the hell is it?!?!
   
2. Who was the first person to use lol on AIM? Or anywhere for that matter. Also, how did it get so popular?
3. Why does EVERYONE shop at Abercrombie? It sucks because I really do like their clothes it's totally my style. Preppy. My issue is that I can't buy something there without knowing if someone is going to be wearing it at school the next day. How did it get so popular?
4. How did Carrie Miranda, Charlotte, and Samantha from Sex and the City meet? I would love to have friends like them and I just need to know where to find them. Also tell me where I can meet my Mr. Big.
5. What is the super long word that means fear of words and how do you pronounce it? I always forget what it is and how to say it. Same goes for the title of that movie Nights in Rodanthe I always say rodithany…  No Laughing.

  Well I'm off to walk my puppy Hershey. It's cold out and raining, but somebody has to do it. Now I could wear a jacket and cover up my totally cute outfit that Is perfect for a little walk into the village. Not to mention perfect just incase I run into my cute neighbor walking his dog. I guess the only way to solve my issue is asking to myself "Do I really want to get my hair wet?"  OMG! A light bulb just went off in my head. An umbrella. Trust me I didn't plan to say any of that, but now that I read it, it really sounds perfectly planned…

I can not wait for this week's Ugly Betty! I bet you are all thinking I'm crazy because last night was gossip girl. Truthfully Gossip Girl is getting a little old. I think they need something big to bring it back, but that doesn't mean I'm going to stop watching it. Have any of you seen the new pictures of little J? Fashion disaster much? If you haven't seen them yet check on the side of the blog for a picture. I have a secret gossip girl source that I get all the latest info from. Though lately more people have been discovering my source! Hey I didn't think I could keep it all to myself for long. So I may not have a post up for the rest of the week until Sunday. Tonight I am having a sleepover at R's house and then I have tons of homework for this week. Saturday I am going to Great Adventures. Maybe this time I will go on that big loopy roller coaster! Wish me luck! 

Now for a little bit of blogging on my life: Today we have school off for a Jewish holiday. I am not Jewish so I am not sure what the holiday is but at least I'm off school! This called for a day of shopping and walking in the city. I can not wait until I am older and have my own apartment in Manhattan, but for now I have to be contempt with what I have. At least I can take the train in whenever I want and my cousins have an apartment that I can use. So I met up with my cousin E and her sister J and the first thing we did was go get something to eat! E has spent the last two years in Parisand is fluent in French while I'm still stuck learning Spanish from my lame thinks-she-is-cool teacher Mrs. H. We went to go eat at a little restaurant in Bloomingdales called David Burke. We don't go there often but it was easy to take the subway to Lexington and stop for a bite to eat. Not to mention that afterwards we could shop.

Before I go on I have to say something. Carrie Bradshaw from sex and the city is my idol. Though Charlotte and I share the same taste in clothes Carrie is always so outgoing and does whatever she wants. She has the perfect boy friends (Mr. Big) the best apartment and has three best friends. That’s the life I want and believe me I am going to get it. This may have been influenced by my recent viewing of the sex and the city movie. While I could have done with out so many sex scenes I still thought it was a great movie. My only issue was Miranda. I wanted to choke her by the end of the movie.

Ok. I'm ready to start again.  At Bloomingdales I couldn't really look around. I'm more of a boutique girl. Don't get me wrong I can shop in crowded places, I'd just rather not. Never the less I found a gorgeous pair of Ralph Lauren riding boots.

To bad I didn't get them. I don't know about you but to me 1,100 dollars for a pair of shoes is way too much for me. I can probably get an even cuter pair at half the price somewhere. A thousand dollars for a dress, coat, or jewelry is fine, but for a pair of shoes that will probably scuff the first time I wear them. I don't think so… ok I'm going to stop telling you about my life. I'm not good at that. I'm more of a rambler than a tell everyone what I'm going through and what I did today. Promise next post will be better

Homework? Nah it's to boring, but it's also what I should be doing right nowL. If you're wondering if I'm one of those really lazy girls, I'm not. I take my school work very seriously, but hey! I'm a girl and you know what they say: "Girls just wanna have fun!" So when I'm at home I do procrastinate a tiny bit. I don't do it a lot for written work, but I do, do it a lot for research projects and when I have to type things on the computer. For some odd reason I always end up writing blog entries instead. For instance, right now I am suppose to be typing up note on Newton's 3rd law of motion and on prescription drug abuse (it's for health class. Don't worry im totally clean. Why ruin my health. I'm young and have a lot to offer the world before I die) Instead I decided to write a blog post.
Now I know I haven't told you girls about any new fashion trends or my new favorite eye liner. Stuff like that. Right now I am very into perfumes so I am deciding to show you my Top 5 Fall Fragrances. Some of them may be old but they still smell amazing so trust me on these. I know my perfumes.

I know this is now a very common scent, but there is a reason for it! Viva La Juciy is a sweet new fragrance by… well who else but Juicy Couture. It smells like honeysuckles, vanilla, and jasmine a bunch of other smells are mixed in to! You can get a 3.4oz bottle at Sephora.com for $85

Ralph Lauren Notorious is a glorious new scent from Ralph Lauren. It is perfect for a date night where you want to smell sexy and confident. It smells like spiced bouquets and decadent chocolate cosmos though, the hint of chocolate is subtle. You can buy a 2.5oz bottle at Sephora.com for $85 dollars.

Shalimar is my mom's signature scent and it is absolutely wonderful. They call it the "forbidden
Fragrance". I would wear it, but im still young and it is a little strong for me to be wearing. I swear that the minute I turn 17 it will be my signature scent. It smells unbelievably romantic and is a great year round fragrance but works particularly well in fall. I suggest anyone reading this should buy there mom a bottle for Christmas. I am telling you now that it is expensive. You can get it at Nordstrom for $110 dollars for a 2.5oz bottle

The Marc Jacobs Splash collection is ah-mazing for any time of the year. Spray it on when you get out of the shower get dressed and go. You will smell great for the rest of the day. I have every scent. My favorite is pear (shown above) but it comes in other scents too. They include: Rain, Basil, and Grape Fruit. New ones just came out and the scents are Fig and Gardenia. While pear is my favorite I think the best one for fall would be Basil. You can buy them all at Sephora for 68 dollars a bottle. They are limited edition so get them fast!

5. Lisi Harrison may have said Burberry was out in the clique books, but I never believed her. I love plaid and I love this scent. Burberry Brit is an old but great scent. If you like scents that are unique and spontaneous then this is the right fragrance for you. It is a classic fragrance and is perfect for fall. You can buy it at Sephora for $75 for a 3.3oz bottle.

Ugh another miserable Monday. I hate being the new girl. I am trying to get into the popular group, but it's kind of hard. I have made a few connections though. So I was watching VH1 about three hours ago and they had on one of there 100 greatest moments things. In this case it was 40 greatest internet superstars. Of course Tom was on it and so was the numa numa guy (congrats on being number 1!), but I was a little disappointed that Smosh's Pokémon lip sync video wasn’t on the countdown. Didn’t that have like 20 million videos before it got taken off YouTube? Well either way I think it should have been on the count down.  

          So last night I couldn’t sleep and I have a major obsession with that 70's show. Hey girls you can't blame me! I was hooked from the first time I saw it. Sadly I got into it during their last season (which sucked. How could they expect anyone to watch it with out the adorkable Eric Foreman and gorgeous Michael Kelso?). So since I couldn't sleep I tried to watch the Butterfly Effect. All I can say is whoa. That is one scary movie. Ashton Kutcher looked beautiful and did an amazing job acting in it. To bad I didn't get past the dog part. I have this think with animal abuse. I can watch someone get there head chopped off and be like "wow that was freaky" but not feel bad for them, but if a dog gets killed (or any other animal for that fact) I FREAK OUT. I will start crying which I did in that one stupid scene. AH I have mental picture. Today at school I couldn't stop picturing that scene! Someone help me and give m a way to get over it! I will heart you x10.  So I guess in addition to my James Franco obsession I also have an Ashton Kutcher obsession… and a Nick Jonas obsession… and an obsession with any other hot celebs. I think I have an issue… :P

          So I am like super excited for the fall and winter holidays. I know im a little early, but every time I walk into William Sonoma I think of there hot chocolate (E!!! I MISS YOU! MWA!) This makes me think of Christmas. Also for some reason when ever my dad cooks I swear it smell just like thanksgiving. I can not wait for Thanksgiving Day when I sit down to watch the Macy's day parade and then the minute it is over ( the official start of the Christmas season) I put on the movie Elf. Just thinking about it makes me happy and gives me a warm feeling inside. Wow im so corny… oh well! So leave me tons of comments telling me what you fav.  Holiday is! Luv you guys and gals! Hey girlies! Sorry for my ultra lack of updates. I have been so busy with school and things that I barley have time for my beloved blog and even Polyvore! Anyway I will try to update at least once a week. Everyone check out my playlist. I updated it with all my favorite songs at the moment. Also I updated my fall TV show list. Time for me to ramble about my life!

Well I am officially a New Yorker again! I don't live in the city but I live right outside it in Westchester. No I'm not kidding and I don't want to hear anyone say that Westchester isn't a real place and that I stole it from the clique books because I didn't. So I started my new school and I'm not going to tell the real name so I'm going to call it DDMS.  Truthfully I'm not very happy with my new school. The kids there are just weird and there's with one boy who im going to refer to as C who is a total perv and keeps hitting on me! I am so freaked out. I am applying to schools on the UES (Upper East Side) of Manhattan that I can go to for high school so I don't have to stay at DDMS. 

          So has anyone watched SNL recently? Well I did and if you don't you should. A few cans of red bull should keep you girls up until 11:30. Now last nights host was.... well none other than Michael Phelps! Anyways I'm sorry to say that the episode was pretty bad and it wasn't his fault! I mean come on the dude isn't an actor what can you expect? Oh well, he might have made an epic fail on SNL, but he will still have his brand spankin new 8 gold medals to cheer him up! Now for al of you that watched is anyone super excited that James Franco is hosting next week?!?! I Am! I am totally in love with him at the moment! After I saw him in Pineapple Express (hilarious but it isn't as funny as Tropic Thunder) I was hooked. Sure he looked gross in the movie but to get by that I just watched the spider man movies when I got home. Nothing is better to me than getting a little does of James Franco as Harry Osborn. So I will be staying up to watch SNL again next week.

          Sorry I keep talking about TV shows but they are all starting and I am so excited! Gossip Girl has been totally rocking! And for anyone who has read the books we all know where Blair is going with Marcus. Also Bones premiered 2 weeks ago I think and I am definitely addicted for another season.

AHH! Sorry again for my absence. I promise now that i will try my hardest to post on this blog. Now to show you a product i got at Sephora about a month ago. I'm not sure if they still sell it, but I'm telling you girls ( and maybe some guys) that this product ( which is shown above) was worth the money.  The Surfer Girl Set has shower gel, lip gloss, and body shimmer lotion. They all smell like pineapple. Yum! Yum! My personal favorite was the body shimmer lotion. It gives where ever you put it on your body a sparkle that makes you feel like a million bucks.

                                                              

Another product that is like Surfer girl is called Tiki hut it is shown above (duh again). This one smells like coconut. I didn't buy it,but i wish i did. Maybe if it's still in stores i will pick it up next time i go to the mall. I just need to get this out there and i hope someone who works for blogger reads this. It took me ten minutes to get this stupid tiki hut picture centered like that. It was insane. Please someone fix that.

Sorry for my absence. I have been very busy the past few months what with moving back to New York and school ending, but now i am settled and ready to start writing again. Now i have a small announcement to make. I will no longer be telling you about what goes on in my life. This blog will now be more of what I'm into at the moment, such as fashions, books, TV shows, and many other things. I have also made changes to the blog as you can tell. I changed the background to something much more fun. The other one was gorgeous and so stylish, yet it was too dark. Since my blog is very light hearted and fun ( at least it should seem that way ) i figured the lighter colors would help it and make people reading it feel happy.  I also added an iPod to the page. It has music in it that i enjoy at the moment and soon it should be filled up with music. If you don't like the songs i am playing write me a comment and give me... hmm... maybe two or three songs you would like to hear and i will put them on the mp3 player as soon as possible. Another element i added to the page is the picture that says i heart my fun, weird, ect... friend. This photo will change weekly. It won't always be the same though. I have a large group of cute photos, quotes, and icons that i get from the internet and put into a folder which i will go through and put a photo up every week from. Now I would like to start a weekly poll. Now i know i can come up with ideas, but i think it would b so much more fun if you guys or girls reading gave me ideas! I have put one up for this week that i made. Be sure to vote!

New Blog!

Well this happens to be my first post on my new blog. I will tell what is going on in my life and some of my favorite things of the moment ( does that make sense?). I will add more detail than i put on my polyvore account ( http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/profile?id=129066 ). Now lets get started.

 

News:

 Today was one of those day at the end of the school year where you do nothing at all. I am beginning to wonder why we are even still going to school. In every class all i did was sign year books and talk. There was only one class which I did work in and the teacher is a complete nerd. time for the  juicy stuff. T and I broke up. We are still friends but he just wasn't my kind of guy. I have been hearing rumors that another famous couple is on the  verge of a break-up. Z and a different T ( who i happen to like) are on the verge of splitting  up. She was extremely mad at him today and if i were him i would definitely end it. Z has a tendency to over react to everything. E and B are still going strong. It was soo cute the way he wrote I heart you with his crazy boy hearts! * sigh * i wish i could just settle down with one boy, but i like three right now: J, T, & K. At least im not like my friend K. When she likes a guy she crushes hard and obsesses over him until he goes out with a girl.

 I have found a website called ASOS - http://www.asos.com/Woman/ - They have a bunch of great stuff and at reasonable prices too! I dont always feel the need to wear everything designer. I won't go buy my clothes from wal-mart either but if i find a cute necklace for 18 dollars i would get it. Don't get me wrong i still love Tiffany's but i don't mind wearing something else. Today i found an ah-mazing dress at Macy's from french connection that i just HAD to buy. I couldn't find it on the Macy's web site but i found it on ASOS:

 

No offense to the model but it looks much better on me.

 I am also obsessed with necklaces right now check out some ah-dorable ones i found at ASOS and NET-A-PORTER

I just ordered this necklace from net-a-porter and i can not wait for it to arrive at the doorstep of my mansion! The heart is to die for!
